The Projects

What we do

The Peace from the Porch Project invests in activities, businesses and events that reflect our values. We believe in reaching out to our neighbors and working together to support each other however we can. We fundraise, we advocate, and we educate through words, music, neighborly spaces and events. We also give back to non-profits that support those in the most need through in kind and financial support.

Christy Claxton Music

Music

Music is how it all began. From a porch in the middle of a hayfield in the middle of Fayette County, in the middle of Texas, in the middle of America, we never let a musical event end without bidding the audience, “peace from the porch.”
Check out Christy’s music here.
