Local Hangout in Ledbetter Open: Join the Fun!

Christy Claxton Live at Little Town!
January 10, 3pm – 5pm
A wobbly comeback from a major finger injury. Plus special guests.

Our latest project is a big endeavor. We are developing a roadside community for travelers, tourists and locals in Ledbetter, Texas. Welcome to Little Town!

We have a lot of work to do to make you feel right at home. The land is purchased, the snack/bar with outdoor seating is ordered, and the business plan is complete. However, we need support to rebuild the infrastructure on this new property. We need to remove and replace electric, septic and parking. We have to remove an old shack and clean up a messy lot full of trash. If you want to help support us with a micro-investment, simply click the link above and purchase a coffee mug. You’ll get free coffee for life when you bring it to Little Town! We’ll collect your email address upon purchase to thank you and keep you up-to-date on our progress.

If you LOVE the idea of connection and community, then Little Town will feel like home. Our motto is simple. YOU BELONG HERE.

Get ready for live music, movies, poetry, book readings and more! We’ll have classic board games, and plenty of yard games, too! Try to beat a local at dominoes. Play some afternoon cards. Shop with a local farmer, artisan or vendor. Watch the sunset with a cool beer or glass of wine. Kick your feet up. You can relax in Little Town.

In the beginning, it looked like this…

Then we did some clearing and recovery of salvageable things…

Now we have a blank canvas! There’s beauty under the trash!

Hard work and persistence is the key to our success

Since we’re a work in progress, we took it all apart to finish the electrical inside the ice house and move in our commercial refrigerator. The work was hard with very long hours. We’re commited to creating a community space and hangout that brings people together, no matter who they are. Special thanks to Michael Eby and David Muegge for their tireless energy and hard work.
